One on One Workshop at Pacific Arts League
/THIS WORKSHOP IS ONLY FOR CANCER PATIENTS AND FAMILIES
Pacific Arts League is hosting another workshop!
In partnership with Pacific Art League, Kids & Art children from 4 to 24 are getting ready for a memorable occasion. The kids/AYA are being paired one-on-one with artists to create art. The professionals, practicing Bay Area artists, will be working alongside the child and together they will create some lasting memories. We will also encourage our professional artists to create a piece inspired by the kids/AYA art.
MESSAGE FOR ARTISTS: Thank you for volunteering with us for this wonderful workshop. This is a wonderful opportunity for our kids to create with you on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis. You can bring in a simple or complicated project with you. You will be paired with a child and the two of you can spend the two hours lost in your art. You can bring in some of your work to show the child or just talk about the projct you have brought in. In the past we have done printmaking, t-shirt design, acrylic painting, mixed media, clay, quilting, to name a few.
MESSAGE FOR VOLUNTEERS: You will help with set up and clean up. You will assist all the artists and clean brushes or change water or work with a younger child if they need help. We will guide you.
Our workshops are free to all pediatric cancer families. To participate as a family, artist, or volunteer, please click on the button below.
