Concert To Benefit Kids & Art

We are very excited to share that Myriad Music School and Dance Academy is hosting a Fundraising Concert to benefit Kids & Art.

WHEN: Saturday February 28th, 7:30 pm

WHERE: Transfiguration Episcopal Church, 3900 Alameda de las Pulgas, San Mateo

Support a great cause and attend an inspiring evening concert, hosted by family-owned Myriad Music School and Dance Academy!

For Kids & Art this is a very bitter sweet event. Our Founders son Amaey was a Myriad Music School student since he was 2. His love for music started at a very young age.

Here is a video that was created for Myriad school for Amaey's Piano 4 graduation. Amaey could not physically attend the concert becasue he had relaplsed with a chemo induced AML and needed to undergo a bone marrow transplant at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital. However, he was a very conscientious child. Being in the hospital did not mean he asked for a free pass, instead he asked for a keyboard for his hospital room and he practiced everyday. This video is a culmination of all his years at Myriad with the final piece, "The Spanish Caballero" being mastered in the hospital.

About the event We are fundraising for one of our favorite local charities, Kids & Art. The concert will feature Myriad’s own amazing teachers, together with select Spotlight Students. Suggested donation of $15 per adult and $10 per child will be collected at the door.
