The 12 freshman from LWHS greeted us with an open heart. They helped us set-up and get comfortable in their beautiful art room. Ms Zoya Voskoboynikov, their Advisor was an amazing host to us. She brought in a lot of snacks and had asked for the art teacher Mr. Osipoff to come in and open the art room for us on a Sunday.
We want to thank Ms. Voshkoboynikov's advisory group for inviting us to LWHS.
Kids & Art focuses on the emotional and psychological state of the pediatric cancer family. We strive for an integrated care model where healing through the arts is part of the treatment plan. We team up children who are touched by cancer, their siblings, and caregivers with local artists.
Together they use art as healing to empower, encourage and create memorable experiences.
