A Celebration in the garden
The art gallery from our 15th anniversary event, A Celebration in the Garden, features artwork by young patients and the professional artists who work with them. This special event held on May 6, 2023 in Hillsborough, CA, brought the Kids & Art community together to celebrate 15 years of healing through art and to look toward a future where all children in cancer treatment are uplifted through creativity.

Sarah painted “Shades of Pink” with the help of artist Renee Switkes at a series of 1-on-1 online workshops. Since her recovery from a malignant germinoma brain tumor 16 years ago, Sarah has made creativity the main focus of her life.
