A Celebration in the garden
The art gallery from our 15th anniversary event, A Celebration in the Garden, features artwork by young patients and the professional artists who work with them. This special event held on May 6, 2023 in Hillsborough, CA, brought the Kids & Art community together to celebrate 15 years of healing through art and to look toward a future where all children in cancer treatment are uplifted through creativity.

Artist: Caroline Robins is an artist and arts educator who creates in various mediums, including needlepoint, printmaking, and acrylics. She ran a weekly Kids & Art program in the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital waiting room and created the content for our Amaeyzing ArtKits. Caroline is now an artist-in-residence at George Mark Children’s House, providing creative arts experiences to critically ill children. She began volunteering with Kids & Art in 2016 and came on board as a staff member in 2017.
