CANCER CREATIVITY CONNECTION
The CANCER CREATIVITY CONNECTION exhibition illuminates the mission and work of the Kids & Art Foundation, a nonprofit that grew from one destination workshop for 15 pediatric cancer patients in 2008 to now offering art programs for countless children and families across the country. These engaging art experiences provide children in treatment a unique opportunity to step away from their limitations and therapies to enjoy the freedom and benefits of creative escape and self-expression.
Artwork for sale featured in this gallery was created by young patients and professional artists who worked together over the years at Kids & Art destination workshops, onsite care center art workshops, online art experiences, and using Amaeyzing ArtKits™ projects.

Aryan used magazines and paint to create his collage “Shapes and Colors” with artist Rinat Goren at a 2018 destination workshop. A survivor of acute lymphoblastic leukemia, Aryan enjoys drawing and painting, and in 2020 he learned how to make a linocut block print.
